This walk takes us around the mountain edge on a newly renovated path and stairs, with magnificent views down to the desert of Wadi Araba, before turning into a valley to the view of the Monastery of Petra.

Continuing our exploration of this fabulous site, we descend the stairs to the ancient city centre of Petra with its Roman and Nabatean ruins and views towards the Royal tombs carved into the mountain, before slowly winding our way through the site to the infamous Treasury and exiting viz the Siq – a 1.2km long winding canyon of many colours.

Over evening dinner we will discuss the upcoming hike.
